Android based Online Shopping for Blinds and Visually Impaired

Online shopping sites and applications for common peoples are widely used in our society and there is a need for such applications for blinds and visually impaired peoples as well.
In our society, there are about 2.5 million blinds that faced problems like physical movement while shopping. They are unable to view and read anything. Sometimes they feel uncomfortable while asking help from others too many times. They face a lot of difficulties while using certain applications and websites which they want to use. Many websites and applications have been developed for this problem but some of these applications and websites lack the required features such as speech recognition which makes the blind life independent and easy. They usually focus on text instead of speech. Many online shopping applications have been developed for common people due to which blind are always dependent on them.
Here we are going to develop an Android based application which will be completely voice based. This application will help the blinds and visually impaired people to use such application easily and comfortably. This application is about purchasing an online products of multiple categories with their own choices. Purchasing of any product will be done through speech recognition. The system will get input from user through voice command. This application will make the blind and visually impaired people lives independent. This application will also display the comparative products .So that if they want to choose other than the required products they may buy that product. It is helpful in a way that it will convey all the details of products in the form of speech. In this Application Users will create their accounts in order to make their purchases and to prevent them, So that any unauthentic users can’t make purchases using their personal details. In this system current users will only provide their phone number and password irrespective of providing all the details. As for as new users are concerned they will provide all their details for registering them for this particular application. Our application will provide all the details of products that are available. Through this users would find it easy to know about the products that are available and which they want to buy. In case they want to make any purchase they will interact with the system in voice and the system will also respond to the user through voice.
